I hope your Sunday is as sunny as mine.
Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer here. It seems like each year is either a complete washout or gorgeous and this year it’s the latter. I’m grateful because my body was craving some unscheduled time outside. The end of the week was a little bumpy between allergies kicking my butt one day and a few nights of crappy sleep. I usually fall asleep within 10 minutes of climbing into bed, so after two nights of crumby slumber, I am ready to become a human solar panel and recharge. To that end, I’ll be skipping my Monday newsletter this week and only posting on Wednesday.
How are you spending your weekend? What’s some of your favorite content from the week?

There’s No Creativity Without Vulnerability
I’ve had a lack of Brené in my life lately. I needed a little bit of a pep talk the other day and so I turned to YouTube and found this video. It’s worth a watch.
Knomii Podcast- Living Rich With What You Have
During my long beach walk yesterday my friend and I were talking about how we are both rewriting and reshaping our mindsets around money. It’s hard work and a path littered with a lot of hidden beliefs. The discussion around spending and values in this podcast episode had me walking around my neighborhood looking at old 1920’s cottages nestled in with massive new builds. I was super curious about the values of each homeowner & in turn myself.
Sarah Blondin- Learning to Surrender Meditation
I know I’ve mentioned
in at least one of my newsletters, but I will continue to sing her praises over and over again. Her words have literally transformed my life. This meditation was just what I needed this week.Work with continued heart intention, but let go when it asks and take peace in the unfolding that will soon come. Fear is useless in these times.
My journal, Lessons from Nature is now out. You can find it here.

One of the most powerful things I’ve learned from Brené Brown is that concept, that creativity requires vulnerability. So powerful. It was a big mindset a-ha for me.
Love Sarah! Can’t wait to listen to the meditation you shared. I’m hoping for bird watching, sunshine, and lots of kids running around my yard with popsicles tomorrow. Happy weekend!
