TURNING TOWARD RAW (Read & Reflect #13)
Signs are everywhere–the pet food aisle of the grocery store, Instagram, the shelves in the library. Over-processed and filtered is falling away. Organic is trending.
**I record audio versions of most of my newsletters. This one actually contains a little back story about what inspired this writing. Just a heads up, I’m not an audio engineer, so don’t expect Audible quality if you listen.**
Morning! Before we get into today’s newsletter…
In honor of the new month and a new season approaching, I want to share more about Lessons from Nature and a GIVEWAY.
I’m creating a few videos and will be sharing more on my Instagram feed about the creation of this journal, & how I envision people using it.
ALSO, I’m giving away 3 copies.
I’ll pick the winners on March 12th (in honor of daylight savings & more sunlight).
If you’ve purchased it, I would love to hear your feedback! If you haven’t, I hope you consider starting your spring off with a new journal. :)
The collective is turning a corner.
Signs are everywhere–the pet food aisle of the grocery store, Instagram, the shelves in the library. Over-processed and filtered is falling away. Organic is trending.
From the food that provides energy, to the interactions that feed souls, humanity is desperate for more wholeness, more goodness, more rawness.
It is a response to the collective pain the world is carrying. Things can only get so heavy, before the body and soul insists on new nourishment.
However, putting aside something that once provided reliable sustenance is a terrifying choice.
Embracing rawness demands reexamining long held beliefs.
Embracing rawness demands courage.
Embracing rawness demands vulnerability.
Just as a store bought tomato will never compare in taste to one plucked fresh from the garden, a curated life will always pale in comparison to the taste of a life led by courage and vulnerability.
Have you found yourself more drawn to “rawness”? In what ways?
Tune into yourself. When you think of being emotionally raw, what comes up for you?
How could showing up a little bit more raw, a little bit more authentic benefit you?
Enter to win a copy of my journal, Lessons from Nature. You can also find it on Amazon.
